Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Mumbuba. Please read the following terms and conditions under which we offer our services. By making a booking or using any of our services (eg. attending a class) you agree to accept and abide by these terms.
Missed Classes
We are unable to give refunds for, or carry over to a future booking, class sessions that you do not attend.
At the discretion of the class leader, and depending on availability and any prevailing health and safety guidelines it may be possible for you to make up the missed class by attending any of our other classes in your category. This should be within your active subscription period or before the end of the final date of the course you have paid for and may not be carried over to dates beyond this. Please check with your class leader for availability before attending a different class.
Antenatal and Postnatal Courses are sold as a 6 – 7 week continuous course (per half term) and we are unable to refund for any missed classes during the course, nor for cancellation unless this is made more than two weeks prior to the start of the course, and only then at the discretion of the business owner.
If a class is cancelled by the class leader you will be informed of the options available to you to make up the class.
Where the cancellation of a face to face class is due to factors beyond our control, in particular, but not limited to, coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions, for example lockdowns or requirement for isolation we reserve the right to substitute online classes for face to face sessions, and in these instances, no refund or carrying over of class sessions will be provided.
Course reservation Terms and Conditions
- If you join part way through the course, you will incur a covering payment for the remainder of the classes for that course. For example, if you join on 15th January, you would pay for the remaining classes at the regular class rate.
- Payment must be made before the course commences in order to confirm/reserve your space.
- If payment is not made by your course commencement date, your reservation will be cancelled and you will be removed from the class register.
Safety Information
Everyone must complete a health questionnaire prior to taking part in classes, and the class leader must be made aware of any problems/conditions which may inhibit your ability to partake in the class. This may change on a weekly basis, so it is your responsibility to update the class leader accordingly.
For Postnatal classes, if you choose to bring your baby along with you, they are your responsibility during the class. They must be within a car seat/pram/buggy for the whole class, unless you need to take them out for their own care. Please supervise them as you need to during the session and do not put them in an unsafe place or near equipment when it is in use.
At all times please follow the instructions and guidelines of your class leader.
In order to help prevent the risk of the spread of infectious diseases, such as, but not limited to, coronavirus (COVID-19) there may be measures in place for those attending classes which you will be asked to adhere to. These could include washing or sanitising hands, keeping a certain distance from others not from your household, following directional signage in relation to the venue, or other similar measures. Please ensure to follow these guidelines as given by your class leader and for the venue.
No liability can be accepted for any incident that occurs due to this guidance not being followed.
While Mumabuba makes every effort to ensure the safety and comfort of you (and your baby) during the sessions, participation in our activities, and the use of our equipment is at your own risk. Your class fees include insurance cover for you.
Infection Control
Infection control policies, such as cleaning regimes and hand washing/sanitising protocols have been developed for our class sessions.
Healthy Children and Adults
Please only come if you are healthy (not ill). You (and your baby if applicable) should remain at home if you have had a fever, vomited, or had diarrhoea within the past 48 hours or are exhibiting contagious cold symptoms (usually during the first few days of a cold) or any symptoms of COVID-19. If you see someone else with a runny nose or cough, do not automatically assume they are contagious. Allergy symptoms can resemble cold symptoms.
We reserve the right to refuse admittance to the class if we feel that you are too ill to participate.
Clothing
You should wear appropriate gym clothes – leggings/joggers/shorts/sports bra/top/trainers, and please bring along a water bottle as well as a towel if you should choose.
Photography and Video
From time to time we may request to take photographs or shoot video during classes to use for marketing and promotional purposes, which may include, but is not limited to, use on social media, promotional materials or our website.
You will be asked at or prior to the first class where this takes places whether or not you consent to being included in these images or footage. Where images are used in this way no additional personal information or names will be linked to them, unless specific additional permission is sought from the individuals involved.
Mumabuba is happy for you to take photographs/videos during classes, as long as it does not interfere with/disturb/delay the class. If putting on social media, it is asked that you ‘tag’ Mumabuba accordingly. If you wish for another person to be in the picture, please seek permission from them before taking pictures.
Class Behaviour
We ask that mobile phones be placed on silent during classes and only used in an emergency or to take photographs as detailed in the photography and video section of these terms.
Additional Services
We have a range of other memberships at CrossFit Incursion and Personal Training and Nutrition if you would like to do these in addition to or instead of Mumabuba classes.
Ask the class leader about the current range and pricing available at class or visit our other website: www.crossfitincursion.com/membership or www.crossfitincursion.com/personal-training-nutrition
